AARP's LGBTQ+ aging resources, advocacy, and community. A starting point for adult children of LGBTQ+ parents needing eldercare resources sensitive to their parents' history. Caregiver support is built into most LGBTQ+ elder programs — partner-led care is acknowledged and supported. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. Free service; donations support but never gate access.
