Relevant for veterans of the AIDS crisis, the Stonewall generation, and elders who lived underground identities most of their lives. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Arizona residents and allies.
