AARP's LGBTQ+ aging resources, advocacy, and community. For LGBTQ+ adults 50+ navigating aging, retirement, healthcare, housing, or end-of-life planning. Caregiver support is built into most LGBTQ+ elder programs — partner-led care is acknowledged and supported. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
