Centers for Disease Control HIV prevention, testing, and treatment information. For people living with HIV, people at risk seeking PrEP, recent exposures needing PEP, or anyone wanting routine testing. PrEP starts after a negative HIV test and HIV-prevention counseling; pill or injectable options exist. PrEP is now available as a long-acting injection (Apretude) every two months — useful if daily pills don't fit your life. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Colorado residents and allies.
