Useful for people early in their transition needing connection, info, and affirming providers. Most ID-change clinics walk through SSA, state DMV, passport, and birth certificate in one session. Informed-consent models are now widely accepted by WPATH; you don't need a therapist's letter at most clinics. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
