LGBTQ+ Aging Project (Fenway)

Boston-based program of Fenway Health expanded nationally to support LGBTQ+ older adults and providers. Relevant for veterans of the AIDS crisis, the Stonewall generation, and elders who lived underground identities most of their lives. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. LGBTQ+ elders are twice as likely to age alone as their straight peers — community programs counter that isolation. Free service; donations support but never gate access.
