Boston-based program of Fenway Health expanded nationally to support LGBTQ+ older adults and providers. For LGBTQ+ adults 50+ navigating aging, retirement, healthcare, housing, or end-of-life planning. SAGE's National LGBTQ+ Elder Hotline (1-877-360-5428) staffs trained peer counselors weekdays. LGBTQ+ elders are twice as likely to age alone as their straight peers — community programs counter that isolation. Open at no cost to LGBTQ+ North Carolina residents and the people supporting them.
