A starting point for sober-curious LGBTQ+ adults considering whether to cut back without a full crisis. Sober social events (queer sober dance nights, hikes, brunches) are organized in most metros. LGBTQ+ adults have 2–4x higher rates of substance use disorder than straight peers — minority stress is the driver, not identity.
