Useful for trans, nonbinary, and questioning callers who need to be heard without explaining what their pronouns mean. Bilingual counselors are usually on shift; ask for one when the call connects. Counselors aren't mandated reporters for LGBTQ+ identity itself; they only report imminent danger to self or others. No cost — the program is grant-funded and confidentiality-protected.
