Federally funded resource center providing training, technical assistance, and resources on LGBTQ+ aging. For LGBTQ+ adults 50+ navigating aging, retirement, healthcare, housing, or end-of-life planning. Long-term care ombudsman services exist in every state — ask specifically about LGBTQ+ resident protections. Many LGBTQ+ elders went back into the closet when they entered nursing homes; SAGE-trained facilities are growing but still rare. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Oregon residents and allies.
