Coalition for the Homeless

Housing & Shelter · Virginia · Free

National coalition of homelessness service providers. For LGBTQ+ youth kicked out by family, adults fleeing domestic violence, and elders facing housing discrimination. Most stays in emergency shelter are 30–90 days while you work with case management on next steps. Trans women of color face the highest rates of housing discrimination and violence — affirming providers know how to navigate the system carefully. All services free of charge to LGBTQ+ Virginia residents and allies.
